What is Bentonite Clay? 

Millions of years ago the volcanos have erupted and their ash was deposited on the surface of the earth. That million of years old volcanic ash deposit forms into today’s Bentonite clay. It is a natural clay with a fine and soft texture.

 

It is also known as montmorillonite clay or calcium bentonite clay, it contains natural minerals such as calcium, magnesium and iron etc. It is an ancient cosmetic product for the skin and a remedy for many skin issues. It was used by ancient cultures like Aztecs, Indians and Egyptians.

How to use Bentonite clay / French pink clay on the skin?

Mix bentonite clay powder with water to make a thick paste. Apply the Bentonite clay paste to the areas of the skin. Leave the mask on until it's dry or 5-8 minutes minimum and rinse thoroughly with water. Apply your favourite moisturizer. Repeat two or three times per week for better results. Rose water or vinegar can be used instead of water.

 

How do these clay masks work on the skin?

Clay masks work by adsorbing oils and dirt from the skin. It adsorbs materials by sticking to their molecules or ions. It also absorbs and removes toxins, heavy metals, impurities, and chemicals. Healing clays like bentonite and French pink clay have a high concentration of minerals including silica, calcium, magnesium, sodium, iron, and potassium, which provide additional benefits to the body.

 

Bentonite clay produces a negative electric charge when hydrated (contact/mix with fluid). When it comes in contact with positively charged toxins, chemicals and heavy metals, the clay absorbs them and releases its minerals for the body to use.

Seal /Close well the packaging and keep it in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
